We understand that Newcastle and QPR have entered into the final stage of negotiations for the season long loan of Loic Remy.
The deal is currently hinging on two points. Newcastle and QPR are yet to agree if the Magpies will have to pay all of Loic Remy’s wages or not for next season and a buy out clause has not been agreed so far.
There is a possibility that Newcastle try to buy the player should QPR not agree with the loan deal, but the reality of the situation is that QPR must rid Remy off their wage bill before the window is up. They are believed to be close to the signing of Charlie Austin.
Finally, we have no confirmation whether or not Loic Remy has given the green light for this deal. We have learnt that West Ham United have also made contact with QPR for the potential transfer of the former Marseille man.
