Newcastle United have officially announced the loan signing of French striker Loic Remy on a year long deal from Championship side QPR.
This transfer saga was long, drawn out and often tiresome but late last week a deal had in principle been agreed between the two clubs.
Despite initially wanting to sell the player, QPR decided had no choice but to loan him in order to cut his costly wages of their bill.
Talks entered a final stage on the 1st of August.
