FT scores: Ajaccio 2-3 Toulouse, Bordeaux 1-1 Lorient, Evian 2-2 Reims, Rennes 0-2 Nancy, Valenciennes 3-4 Bastia

20:52: GOAL VALENCIENNES: Pujol fires home to make it Valenciennes 3-4 Bastia, but it is too late. That Thauvin goal has won it for Bastia

20:49: GOAL EVIAN: N’Sikulu scores a brilliant late volley. Tremendous goal. Ligue 1 has truly exploded into life. Looks to have rescued a point for Evian. Now Evian 2-2 Reims

20:47: GOAL NANCY: Goals flying in as Bakar scores on the break to guarantee this tremendous win for the bottom side. Now Rennes 0-2 Nancy

20:46: GOAL BASTIA: Thauvin has been brilliant this season and has just scored two in as many minutes. A brilliant solo run up field ends in him slotting home up field. He has added goals to his game. Now Valenciennes 2-4 Bastia

20:45: GOAL BORDEAUX: Obraniak equalises late on for Bordeaux. it had been coming. Now Bordeaux 1-1 Lorient. Helps neither team.

20:43: GOAL BASTIA: Thauvin converts a penalty for Bastia to put the away side ahead. It hit the bar before going in. Dubious decision to give it in the first place. Valenciennes 2-3 Bastia

20:40: GOAL TOULOUSE: Capoue rounds off a fabulous night to make it 2-3, as he converts a penalty. Ajaccio 2-3 Toulouse

20:36: GOAL NANCY: Completely against the run of play, Nancy lift themselves to being tied on points with Troyes as they look for survival. Ayasse volleys in from the right of the area to make it Rennes 0-1 Nancy

20:35: Reims just ten minutes away from getting a brilliant victory having been down to ten men for over 70 minutes.

20:31: Rennes still dominating. It has been a very brave effort from Nancy to block them out. Rennes have not been the same team since Alessandrini’s injury. They were looking at a possible Champions League spot, but they do not look like they are even going to make Europe now.

20:26: GOAL EVIAN: The home side bite right back! Sagbo heads in from close range to make it Evian 1-2 Reims. The game has suddenly come alive.

20:23: GOAL REIMS: Against the run of play, the side who are down to ten men go 2 up. Courtet scores after a ball in from Glombard.

20:21: Toulouse still dominating away at Ajaccio. Rabiot looking very good in the midfield. He is a serious talent for the future:

20:19: Valenciennes lacking pace and a clinical finish up front. Something needs to be done. They have fallen apart since losing Kadir in January.

20:15: Feret hits the top of the wall with a freekick for Rennes. Bordeaux send one just wide. Chances being missed around the grounds. Will either side regret them. Bordeaux coming back into this game against Lorient again.

20:12: Evian still dominating away at 10-men Reims, but are still yet to find the target. Saber Khalifa has had a good chance, but was unable to turn it home.

20:06: GOAL BASTIA: We are back level again and it is that man Maoulida for Bastia, who heads home a Julian Palmieri cross to make it 2-2. Valenciennes 2-2 Bastia

20:00: We have restarted

HT: Valenciennes 2-1 Bastia: Penneteau should be off for a last man challenge on the edge of the box, but the home side do lead. They have scored their second through a cool penalty. We are seeing a revival in form.

HT: Rennes 0-0 Nancy: Dreadful display by the bottom side. Rennes have been better so far, but no golden chances and have failed to find the next.

HT: Evian 0-1 Reims: Ayite put the visitors in front and then was sent off, minutes later, for an awful tackle. Reims have held on but Evian have dominated ever since.

HT: Bordeaux 0-1 Lorient: It has been a half of two halfs! Bordeaux dominated the first part of it, but failed to get a goal. Lorient game back at them and did. A great move rounded off by Aliadiere (30 today) who slotted home. Lorient have been brilliant this season.

HT: Ajaccio 2-2 Toulouse: Has been a thriller so far and the away side should be leading. A Zebina OG was cancelled out by a Capoue freekick and a Tabanou goal, which rounded off a good move. A Mutu goal late on in the half means that it is all square going into the break. Ochoa has kept his side in it so far. Capoue the man of the match so far. Appears to be a return to form for the Frenchman.

19:45: GOAL AJACCIO: Mutu rises highest in the box to head home from a corner to level the scores. Not too sure how much he knew about it, but it is now Ajaccio 2-2 Toulouse

19:42: GOAL LORIENT: It had been coming. On his 30th birthday, Ex-Arsenal man Aliadiere finds the net after a great one-two with Barthelmé. Easy finish . The Bordeaux defense was cut open. Great moment for the man who is having a brilliant season. Bordeaux 0-1 Lorient

19:38: Still all Rennes as Pitroipa is only able to head off target. Nancy still very poor and failing to get into this game, but it is still 0-0. Elsewhere, it has been all Lorient in the last 10 minutes against Bordeaux. No goals there yet either.

19:33 GOAL TOULOUSE: Ochoa saves a fantastic effort from Rabiot, before Capoue, once again involved, plays the ball into Tabanou, who brilliantly finishes it past Ochoa. They have turned it around. Now Ajaccio 1-2 Toulouse

19:31: GOAL VALENCIENNES: After a few great saves by Penneteau, who should probably be off after bringing down Maoulida on the edge of the box, Valenciennes win a penalty, due to a fluky hand ball which the player knew nothing about it, which Danic coolly converts. Valenciennes back in front. Valenciennes 2-1 Bastia

19:26: GOAL TOULOUSE: The away side have put that Zebina shocker behind them and have now drawn level with Ajaccio. A brilliantly placed Capoue freekick finds the net past the sprawling Ochoa. Has the player started to find form again after his recent dip? Now Ajaccio 1-1 Toulouse.

19:26: Rennes in control against Nancy. They are dominating possession in the middle of the park. Still no goal or great chances yet though. Nancy are so temperamental. Some weekends, they have just not turned up.

19:21: GOAL BASTIA: A cracking strike from Maoulida levels the scores. Great finish. That is his fifth goal of the season. Valenciennes have been pegged back here. Now Valenciennes 1-1 Bastia

19:20: GOAL AJACCIO: Completely against the run of play. Zebina steers the ball into his own net. Great finish, but it is at the wrong end. Ajaccio gifted a goal. Ajaccio 1-0 Toulouse

19:16: RED CARD: Reims are down to ten men. Goalscorer Ayite has just been sent off moments after scoring. Clumsy, late, stupid challenge. His studs were up. No real complaints in my mind. Going to be a long evening for Reims now. Can they hold on?

19:15: Toulouse have been the better side so far away at Ajaccio, both Regattin and Tabanou have snatched at half chances, but it seems like only a matter of time before they find the net. They are controlling the game in midfield.

19:12: GOAL REIMS: The away side score with their first shot. Floyd Ayite scores on the counter after good work from Devaux. Against the run of play so far, but it is Evian 0-1 Reims

19:08: GOAL VALENCIENNES: After lots of early pressure, including a good chance for right back Rudy Mater, Valenciennes have taken the lead. Remi Gomis heads in from a corner to put the home side in front. Poor marking. 1-0 against Bastia

19:04: All the early pressure from Bordeaux in tonight’s featured match. Lorient have not woken up yet. Les Girondins have had a freekick and a shot from the edge of the box so far, but both have come to nothing.

19:00: We are underway

The big game tonight is Bordeaux vs Lorient. A win for either tonight would seem to knock the other out of the European pursuit. Evian and Rennes both need points and Valenciennes will be looking to pick the pace back up after their awful form of late. Join us in five minutes.
