Manchester United show interest in Cabella?

French and British press both report today that Manchester United could be set to make a move for Montpellier attacking midfielder Remi Cabella and manager Jean Fernandez’s comments on the issue do look set to truly ignite the rumour mill.

‘The Metro’, alongside a host of other reports today claim that Manchester United could be in for the ‘100 million pound man’ this January and say that David Moyes has launched a huge scouting offensive on the player for the next couple of months.

Montpellier boss Jean Fernandez has today announced that the club would be willing to sell the player for around 18 million euros, Whether Cabella is worth this amount could be seen as debatable, with the 23 year old yet to live up to his reputation as France’s next big thing and he has failed to win a full international cap as yet.

Obviously at this stage of the year, rumours are flying around from all directions and in the next few weeks we shall be monitoring this one to try and confirm if there is any truth in these reports.
