Nasser Al Khelaifi, the President of Paris Saint Germain has today announced that in a conversation with Swedish star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the former Barcelona and AC Milan player told him that he will end his career in Paris.
‘Ibrahimovic has said he wants to finish it all here, and that Paris Saint Germain will be his last club.’
The Swede, who has been in fantastic form of late, recently signed a contract extension with the current Ligue 1 champions which runs until June 2016. If Ibrahimovic honoured this contract he would be 34 years old when it expires.
This is certainly good news for PSG fans who see him as an integral part of the team and the future project. QSI, who own the club, want to achieve Champions League glory in the next 2-3 years and Ibrahimovic could well be an essential ingredient in aiding the club to do so.
