Al-Walid Bin Talai Bin Abdelaziz Al Saoud, the 35th richest man in the world according to Forbes magazine, is interested in buying Olympique de Marseille football club, according to L’Equipe.
Today’s paper claims that the Saudi prince has been pursuing the idea of buying the club for a number of weeks and the report even goes as far to suggest that the prince has directly contacted Marseille President Vincent Labrune regarding the matter.
Marseille released a statement later on in the day to firmly deny such claims.
