According to Le Parisien, AS Roma have stopped negotiating for PSG central midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Sources in Italy have indicated that the reason for doing so was because Roma do not want to deal with PSG’s excessive demands, but sources at the capital club believe that it is Veronique Rabiot, then player’s agent and mother, who is trying to destroy the possibility of a deal so that her son can leave PSG for free in 12 months time.
They believe that Arsenal could come back into talks today, but it is perhaps most likely at the time of writing that Adrien Rabiot remains at PSG and runs down his contract with the Ligue 1 side.
Juventus and AS Roma have already began negotiating about the possibility of a pre-contract agreement.
