Alexandre Lacazette nearing contract extension

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette is set to put pen to paper for a three year contract extension, with his current deal running until 2016, after Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas had lunch with the player’s agent on Thursday.

The player was supposedly attracting interest from Liverpool and Newcastle but Lyon have set a €20m price tag on the player’s head.

A contract extension has been provisionally agreed, now it is up to the player to give the final okay.
