Andre Pierre Gignac wants to leave Marseille in June

Marseille striker André Pierre Gignac has confirmed in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport that he wishes to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the current season.

He had the following to say to the Italian newspaper:

“Bielsa has revolutionised everything. Structures, our mentality, our formation and has given us confidence. Each training session is preceded by a theoretical explanation. Training is intense, but tactically and technically eye-opening. We have many video sessions: one or two a day.”

On his future…

“As a child I dreamed of becoming a professional and playing for Marseille. But now at the end of the season I think I will move on. Inter? It is an institution, with the great Mancini at the helm. I watch all the big leagues, but also the Russian and Turkish ones.”
