Andy Delort is a wanted man

One of France’s most promising attackers’ transfer saga goes on, with new clubs manifesting their interest day after day.

Andy Delort has now been the subject of concrete interest from over five clubs.

In France, Rennes’ offer of €4m remains on the table, but the player would prefer to go to Lens if he remains in France. The issue with this currently is that due to the restrictions placed on that club by the French football financial watchdog DNCG, they are unable to sign any players.

Delort has been waiting patiently, but his patience is running out.

In the Premier League, both Southampton and Leicester have indicated their interest, but he remains low down on their list of priorities. Schalke and Gladbach are also supposedly interested, if L’Equipe’s reports are to be believed.

Standard Liege have stepped up this week with serious intent, but Tours have yet to formally accept an offer from any side.
