Manchester United record signing Angel di Maria has spoken to Telefoot about his potential move to PSG last summer. There were multiple reports that the Argentinian was close to moving to the French capital. This is what he had to say:
‘The reason why I didn’t move to PSG was because of financial reasons. PSG could not buy players, and that was the problem. It could have been a great experience to play for PSG.’
He also added that he was content to have left Real Madrid, and didn’t rule out joining PSG in the future. He said: ‘I have no regrets about leaving Real Madrid, I won everything there. I’m still young, a lot can happen in the future. I’m not sure where I will end up.’
