The deal has been done for 10 days, but Arsenal have finally announced the signing of right-back Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle United.
The deal is £10m plus £2m potential bonuses.
The player had a medical with the club last week and is currently on holiday. The announcement of the deal was held up by Newcastle who needed to finalise the deal to sign a replacement right-back first.
