Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed to Onda Cero that the club is in talks to sign Paris Saint Germain defender Marquinhos.
He had the following to say to the Spanish media outlet:
“The club has been following him for two summers now. We do not hide the fact that we are looking for a central defender, but I cannot confirm that it is just him. There have been talks with several players that we are following. Our aim is to replace Carles Puyol.”
