In an interview to Midi Libre today, Montpellier defensive midfielder Benjamin Stambouli had the following to say:
“There are still a few days left and anything can happen. Marseille made an interesting offer for the club, and contrary to what has been said my father Henri Stambouli’s dealings with OM will have nothing to do with my decision. At Marseille, they say I will play in midfield, but I’m convinced due to their defence at the moment, that that is where they will ask me to play. I’m really not interested in that.”
