Earlier today, it was made official that young 19 year old attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva has been loaned from the Portuguese Champions Benfica to last year’s Ligue 1 runners-up AS Monaco.
Bernardo Silva played 38 times for Benfica’s B team last year, scoring 7 goals and making 7 assists, and joins a Monaco team hoping to build on last season’s strong showing. He is very highly rated in Portugal, and will look to develop as much as possible in the coming 12 months.
