SC Bastia have announced the appointment of former PSG coach and Chelsea player Claude Makélélé as their manager, thus replacing Frederic Hantz.
Makélélé has been handed a two year deal with the Corsican outfit, with PSG defensive midfielder Blaise Matuidi admitting that he was disappointed to see Makélélé leave.
SC Bastia are in talks meanwhile to sign striker Guillaume Hoarau, who is out of contract next month, Get French Football News understands.
