Didier Deschamps confirmed yesterday that both Franck Ribery and Clement Grenier have been forced to withdraw from the French World Cup Squad just days before their scheduled departure to Brazil due to injury.
Ribery had been having trouble with his back and, after being rushed back into training this week, further aggravated it.
Grenier tweaked his adductor muscle in training on Thursday after an operation just two months ago.
Remy Cabella and Morgan Schneiderlin replaced the pair.
