After the initial news of these two transfers broke a few days ago, they have now officially been confirmed by Clermont. The Ligue 2 side have signed Auxerre’s Souleymane Sawadogo and Evian’s Hugues Konongo, who joins on a one year loan deal.
Just a few days after the announcement that Helena Costa would not be taking up her managerial duties in the coming season, Clermont look to have moved on, and with these two signings are looking to push on as high up Ligue 2 as they can, perhaps even into the promotion places.
