Premier League side Crystal Palace have in the last 24 hours made a fresh bid to sign Lille full-back Pape Souaré, according to GFFN sources.
An initial offer of €3.5m was rejected by Les Dogues, but the struggling Premier League side have made an improved proposition.
It is thought that Palace will try and construct the deal but wait for a new manager to come in before confirming it.
