Divock Origi closing in on terminating Lille loan to return to Liverpool

The AFP and Fifa.com are both reporting that Divock Origi will return to Liverpool next month after they claim that the Premier League side found an agreement with Lille to buy the player out of the remaining 6 months of the pre-arranged loan deal with the club.

Origi, who has scored just 4 goals this season for Les Dogues, was a major part of boss Réné Girard’s plans for the ongoing season but the manager has supposedly been overruled by the board who felt that they had to consider such a generous proposal from Liverpool of €6m.
