Divock Origi dreams of the Premier League

Lille’s young Belgian striker Divock Origi, who attracted worldwide attention when he scored the winner for Belgium at the Maracana just a few days ago, has given an interview in which he outlines his wish to play in the Premier League at some point in his career.

There has been a lot of talk about reported interest from AS Roma, but Origi played this down, saying that he would rather cross the channel and play in England. He said: ‘Roma is interested in me? To tell you the truth my dream is to play in the Premier League.’

He went on to say that he was ‘still young,’ and that he would talk about transfer after Brazil, stressing that ‘At the moment I am concentrating on the World Cup and we will discuss this (a transfer) later.’ Multiple media outlets have linked Origi to the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham in the past few days.
