Brazilian youngster Doria has not received a single minute of first team action since joining the club this summer and has been at the centre of a row between manager Marcelo Bielsa and President Vincent Labrune, with the former claiming that Doria was signed without his consent and even against his wishes.
In today’s L’Equipe, Alexandre Gallo, the player’s agent, had the following to say on the situation:
“Yes, I am worried. A player with his ability should be playing. I am not talking about the decisions of the manager, I respect him. I ask my players to do the same, to work with abnegation and to wait for the opportunity to present itself. Doria is not annoyed, he is staying calm in his head, he is a clever boy, mature, he is just waiting for his chance.”
