Dusan Djuric quits Valenciennes

Serbian-Swede Dusan Djuric has joined FC Aarau, a Swiss club, for an undisclosed fee.

The 29 year old has signed a two year deal with the Swiss outfit.

Valenciennes have meanwhile agreed to sign central defender Yunis Abdelhamid on a three year deal after he quit Arles Avignon for nothing this summer. The player was supposed to join Luzenac but pulled that deal when the club hit difficulties with French football’s financial watchdog the DNCG.

33 year old centre back Rudy Mater has been told he will not be offered a contract extension and that he is free to go. The player subsequently hit back at VA for “horrible treatment” for a player who wanted to see his career out in his hometown.
