33 year old striker Eduardo has announced today that he will be retiring from professional football, effective immediately.
The player had a contract until 2015 with FC Metz but has cited “personal reasons” for cutting it a year short.
Metz and Eduardo mutually terminated the deal last week, a split that has ended amicably.
