According to France Football, Ezequiel Lavezzi could leave PSG next month.
The player remains the subject of intense interest from Serie A side Inter Milan and the magazine suggests that a meeting between the two clubs and Lavezzi’s representatives could occur in Marrakech in between the 27th and 31st of December when the two clubs are supposed to face each other in a friendly.
There remain considerable questions surrounding Inter Milan’s finances in terms of whether or not they might be able to do a deal but Ezequiel Lavezzi has reached a point where PSG do not really want to extend his contract which expires in 2016.
If Lavezzi is sold, France Football have identified three individuals as potential replacements.
The first is Rennes winger Paul Georges Ntep, followed up closely by Barcelona’s Pedro who would be available for around €35m. The Barcelona youngster’s contract expires in 2016 and he is coming to a crossroads in terms of making a decision about his future.
The final target that France Football identify is that of Tottenham winger Erik Lamela. But PSG representatives have yet to really see enough of the player.
