Radamel Falcao spoke to Spanish paper Marca about his time at Monaco last season.
He had the following to say:
“Manchester United was a chance for me at a very difficult time. I had had a very difficult year, personally but also in my professional career. What happened to me early on in the season hurt me in all senses, but also helped to me to grow as a human, and to think about lots of things. In my thoughts and plans for the future, I want to stay at Manchester United for the forthcoming years.”
“I need some time to be at my best, but I feel very much at ease and very good on the pitch, harmonious with the ball and football. Maybe it is incomprehensible that the expectations (at Monaco) this year are no longer as great as last. They changed the strategy and now count more on young players for success. I remember good and bad moments, but all of it helped me to grow.”
