L’Equipe understands that Guingamp are in advanced negotiations with Newcastle United over the possible loan of midfielder Sylvain Marveaux.
Montpellier have been in talks also for over a week now, but the issue for both clubs remains the fact that Newcastle want all of Marveaux’s wages to be paid for by the loaning club, something that neither Ligue 1 side are able to offer at the time of writing.
Either Newcastle lower their demands, or the situation will not change.
