Get French Football News can confirm Sky Sports reports that Premier League side Hull City are in talks to sign Rennes central defender Jean Armel Kana Biyik.
The player does not feature in Rennes manager Philippe Montanier’s plans for the coming season, after the Kana Biyik had a major bust-up with the club’s fans in May and then made the extraordinary decision to retire from international football with Cameroon at the young age of 24.
Fee discussions have begun between the two clubs.
