According to various sources this evening, although the story was broken by Foot Mercato, Cameroonian international Jean Armel Kana-Biyik is on the verge of leaving Rennes for Italian outfit Palermo.
The player and his agent are currently in Italy to try to close the deal. Kana-Biyik has been left out of the first team squad and training this season by Philippe Montanier.
