PSG manager Laurent Blanc is today closer than ever to signing a contract extension with the capital club, after deciding that he does intend to prolong his adventure in Paris.
Blanc told BeIN Sports yesterday that ‘there is no reason for me not to (extend)’ and that ‘I am very happy here’.
Paris Saint Germain became the first club to win the Coupe de la Ligue four times in the competition’s twenty year history last Saturday as they beat Lyon 2-1 at the Stade de France with Edinson Cavani getting both goals for the club.
Nasser Al Khelaifi the PSG President has on numerous occasions in the last month firmly backed Laurent Blanc and insisted that the former French national coach extend his deal until June 2016.
Blanc has been approached by both Manchester United and Inter Milan in recent weeks but has decided to remain with the imminent Ligue 1 back-to-back Champions.
