Laurent Blanc wants: “two or three signings”

PSG manager Laurent Blanc has told Le Parisien that he wants “two or three signings” ahead of the 2014/2015 Ligue 1 season.

On the subject of Marquinhos, Blanc had the following to say:

“The fact that top European clubs want PSG players does not surprise me. But what concerns me, and what also concerns our representatives, is that Marquinhos represents the future of PSG. I do not see any interest in us separating from him.”

On Adrien Rabiot’s transfer situation:

“He could eventually leave, but the club must be okay with it. Personally, I want him to stay with us. Afterwards, the contract discussions are difficult. These are discussions we need to have.”

On arrivals and departures:

“If you listen to the paper talk, then we are going to transfer 10-12 players, the whole team apparently…but it won’t be like that. We have already signed one, David Luiz. If we bringing in two or three players that would already be good. That is what we have planned for. There will be few arrivals and certainly few departures.”
