Le Havre announce 3 deals

Yesterday, Le Havre announced three deals that could set the club on the way to a successful 2014/15 season. The club signed full back Issam Chebake, goalkeeper Stefan Milosavjlesic and extended the own deal of Rennes goalkeeper Abdoulaye Diallo by a year. These three deals could help Le Havre improve on their 12th placed finish of last season, with the club perhaps even looking to push for promotion.

Issam Chebake, who has spent most of is career so far in the lower leagues of French football, has been given the chance to step up to Ligue 2 level. The full back, still just 24 years of age, is quick and not afraid to go forwards, but will need a run in the team to get accustomed to the tactical focus of Ligue 2 football.

Abdoulaye Diallo, a graduate of the prestigious Clairefontaine academy, impressed last season on loan at the club, and Rennes and Le Havre both came to the agreement that a contract extension was in order. In all likelihood, Diallo will be the first choice goalkeeper come next season.

Stefan Milosavjlesic, Austrian by nationality, is just 21 years of age, and will likely be a backup to Diallo in goal. Le Havre have signed him early on in his career, and will likely give him a couple of years to settle into life at the club before promoting him into the first team. Standing at 1.82m tall, Milosavjlesic is not particularly tall for a goalkeeper, but is agile and has good reflexes, meaning he is a promising youngster.
