At long last, Lille have officially announced the signing of Sebastien Corchia from Sochaux. Corchia has been a long term target for Lille, and his proposed move in the last transfer window broke down at the very last hurdle. Lille will be very glad that they have finally gotten the deal over the line.
Corchia signs on a 4 year deal, which should see him stay at the club until the summer of 2018. Considering Corchia is currently 23, Lille will most likely benefit from the Frenchman’s best years in his footballing career. The fee is thought to be just short of €2 million, comprising of €1.7 million upfront plus a bonus.
