A source at Auxerre TV, the area’s main television station understands that the Arsenal have more-or-less agreed a €10m fee for the signing of Paul Georges Ntep, Auxerre’s star winger. They have also indicated that Ntep is set to be loaned straight back to the club until the end of the season.

Get French Football News is in no way able to confirm these reports at present, as we look to seek out confirmation on this piece of news in the coming hours.

The player has been the subject of much interest this month from clubs all over Europe but is understood to have held talks with Arsenal over the weekend according to the Auxerre President.

The Auxerre President has denied such links with Arsenal, saying that there has been no offer or even any contact from the British side.

We reiterate the details are currently unverifiable.

RMC have also announced that any possible move to Stade Rennais has broken down due to wage demands, and this has been confirmed by Auxerre president Guy Cotret.
