Get French Football News has learnt that Tottenham Hotspur are in pole position to sign QPR striker Loic Remy in the summer as he looks to seal a move to ‘a top European club.’
According to France Football, Loic Remy’s future is 100% not at Newcastle next season, the club where he is currently spending a one year loan spell at.
Get French Football News understands that Tottenham have already entered into negotiations with the player’s entourage and are ready to make a €12m offer for the player but are waiting for a future manager to give the go ahead. If that bid should fail, they are thought to be prepared to go as high as €17m.
Atletico Madrid have placed the player on their shortlist, with the imminent summer departure of Diego Costa in mind.
It seems unlikely that Loic Remy will go to Italy, although Inter Milan have spoken with the player’s agent.
France Football believe that his dream destinations would be either Arsenal or Chelsea, with Thierry Henry being his idol.
