Manchester City have agreed a fee with Porto for Eliaquim Mangala; player undecided

According to our colleagues at L’Equipe, Manchester City and FC Porto have agreed on a fee of €40m for the possible transfer of French international central defender Eliaquim Mangala.

Chelsea are also interested, but will wait until after the World Cup before making a decision as to whether or not they should bid for the player.

The player would prefer to move to Chelsea and more specifically London than Manchester.

Manchester City have yet to agree contractual details with Mangala. A deal is not close, despite a fee being agreed.
