It has officially been announced in the last few minutes by Marseille that Michy Batshuayi has completed a move to join the club. He joins from Standard Liege, a club with which Marseille have formed a minor partnership.
The transfer fee for Batshuayi is believed to be €6 million plus a percentage of the sell-on fee, which was the stumbling block in the deal in the past 24 hours. Now that the deal has been completed, Marseille have a very promising young striker on their hands, as well as a partnership with one of Belgium’s strongest clubs.
