According to various French media outlets, Marseille have had an initial offer for Arthur Masuaku rejected by Valenciennes.
The left-back is a serious target for OM and new manager Marcelo Bielsa has given the go ahead to make the deal happen.
Their first bid was worth around €600k, and an offer of €1m is believed to be likely enough for the cash-strapped Ligue 2 side to agree to.
Marseille have begun contract negotiations in earnest and will offer Masuaku a 5 year deal.
