According to today’s L’Equipe, Marseille President Vincent Labrune wants to offload goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.
The player is on a comparatively high wage to the rest of the squad and the paper claims that Labrune has already offered him to Dynamo Moscow, the club that Marseille sold Mathieu Valbuena to this summer.
It remains to be seen whether they will look to sign a new goalkeeper in the coming months or whether Marcelo Bielsa will refuse any Mandanda sale. If he doesn’t, second choice goalie Brice Samba might hope to take up the mantle.
