In an interview with L’Equipe, AC Milan forward Mbaye Niang has spoken about his difficulties conceding the bad boy image that has enveloped him in recent years.
He had the following to say:
“I made mistakes, big ones even. These mistakes made me understand that in order to be a star, it also matters of the pitch. I am trying to rid of my bad boy image. I want to become the player that I was. It has not left me. It is a question of time, of work. I have matured. My teammates tell me: they feel like I have understood certain things.”
