According to our colleagues at RMC, Nacional Madeira central defender Mexer is in talks to sign for AS Monaco.
Mexer is understood by the radio station to have agreed a provisional contract with the 2nd placed Ligue 1 finishers.
AS Monaco will begin talks with Nacional Madeira regarding the fee shortly and are expected to make an initial offering of €3m.
Monaco are looking to sign at least two central defenders this summer.
