French international Morgan Schneiderlin has handed in a transfer request at Southampton in order to force through a move to Tottenham according to Sky Sports.
The player unleashed his anger at the club yesterday for announcing that they would not sell him via Twitter.
He did not turn up for training a scheduled today, and is understood to have been given false assurances that he would be allowed to move this summer.
