PSG spending halted by FFP

According to our colleagues at L’Equipe, PSG cannot complete the signings of either Angel di Maria or Serge Aurier because of FFP restrictions and they must raise funds beforehand.

Despite the usual inaccurate noise coming from Spain, PSG and Real Madrid have not agreed a fee yet for the transfer of Angel di Maria and the Paris club are hoping to spend no more than €50m on the Argentinian. Carlo Ancelotti is opposed to the sale of the player and a deal is still a substantial way off.

Toulouse and PSG have provisionally agreed a deal of €8m plus Clement Chantome for Serge Aurier, but, again, PSG must sell to raise funds.

They will only allow Christophe Jallet’s deal with Lyon to go through after the signing of a right back.
