Speaking to Le Phocéen, an anonymous agent explained how next month’s transfer window will bring very limited activity for France’s top flight clubs.
Initially speaking about Marseille he had the following to say:
“In my opinion, they won’t be doing anything. Plus there is no money. Marseille won’t be too hurt by the African Cup of Nations, even if the absence of N’Koulou is considerable. But there are youngsters who can play, Doria, who we haven’t even seen yet, Romao and Fanni who have been very good since the start of the season.”
More broadly he cast a gloomy picture for window itself:
“In France, nothing will move. Nobody has any money, and Monaco and PSG have been hit by Financial Fair Play. Here, we can close our offices.”
