Get French Football News understands that RC Lens have tentatively approached Spartak Moscow over the possibility of signing former Valenciennes striker Majeed Waris.
The Russian side currently have a €6m evaluation on the player’s head and two other Ligue 1 clubs are currently in talks with the player’s representatives.
Get French Football News exclusively spoke with the player’s agent, Phil Radley:
“We are aware of real interest from two ligue 1 clubs, neither of which are Lens, but there is also interest outside of France. If a club can agree a transfer fee with Spartak then discussions in respect of he player can take place.”
