According to Spanish paper AS, Real Madrid and AS Monaco have been in talks over the possible transfer fo Radamel Falcao since the 28th June and that the player remains the Spanish side’s number one priority for an attacker this summer.
Falcao recently spoke of how he was looking forward to the season ahead with Monaco, but his agent Jorge Mendes, who recently orchestrated James Rodriguez’s transfer to Real Madrid, is working to make a move happen.
The issue is as follows: Real Madrid have only offered €33m at present, at AS Monaco refuse to lose any of the €60m that they were forced to pay for the player.
