According to local sources, Sochaux have narrowed down their manager shortlist to just four names after the departure of Hervé Renard at the end of the 2013-2014 campaign.
L’Est Republicain believes that Jean Fernandez, recently of Montpellier and Daniel Sanchez, recently of Valenciennes are the two front runners.
The paper also cites Olivier Pantaloni (Tours) and Laurent Roussey (formerly of FC Sion) as the other two names that Les Lionceaux are considering.
