The country of Switzerland have agreed to turn over ex-French international Marcel Desailly’s bank data to French authorities. It is the third time they have turned over the bank data of an ex-French footballer this year, following similar events with Patrick Vieira and Claude Makelele.
It is understood that Switzerland is turning over the details due to a long standing agreement with France to counter double taxation, and to clamp down on tax evasion and tax fraud.
