Toulouse’s president Olivier Sadran has moved to suggest that Toulouse will not move for PSG’s Clement Chantome after all. Toulouse were linked for a move for the midfielder who spent the last season on loan at the club, but Olivier Sadran said:
‘Regarding Chantôme, he had a very good season, but we made a proposal valid until June 15, so it’s finished.’
This statement has pricked the ears of other potential suitors of the Frenchman, including the likes if St-Etienne, Marseille and RC Lens. Regarding Marseille though, Chantome was quoted as saying in March that he ‘could not go’ to Marseille, due to his affiliation with rivals PSG.
