Valenciennes have announced in an official statement that they have agreed with the French football financial watchdog the DNCG to extend the period of time in which they may attempt to get their finances in order until the 25th June to potentially save the club from bankruptcy.
Should they fail to do so, the club risks being relegated to the 6th division of French football (DH).
